How long does delivery take and can I track my order?
Delivery times vary depending on which service you choose. We offer collection by arrangement which is free, Special Delivery Guaranteed (preferred method) which guarantees delivery by 1pm next working day (when dispatched before 4pm) and Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class which takes two to three days from dispatch. Please note that this service is NOT covered by insurance. We therefore cannot take responsibility for lost parcels. For deliveries overseas we offer International Tracked which takes 5 to 7 working days from dispatch. This service is trackable within the UK.
Can you create pieces to match an existing set?
This very much depends on the style and metal used. Please contact us and send as much detail (including clear photographs and measurements) as possible and we can advise you.
I have bought a set / earrings from you but notice they are not exactly identical. Why is this?
As all of our jewellery is hand made using traditional methods there are often very slight differences between pieces - we make every effort to make pieces that match (such as earrings) as similar as possible, however, we think that very slight differences are part of the charm of hand made!
This is for a gift - do you provide a wrapping service / gift receipt and can it be sent directly to the recipient?
We do - you can find this in each of the jewellery sections under 'Gift Wrap'. Simply add this to your order before check out. If you require it to be sent to an address other than your billing address ensure you complete the relevant details in your account delivery address section.
I have received the wrong order / my jewellery has arrived damaged - what do I do?
We make every effort to ensure that the correct items are sent to the correct address and are carefully packaged. It is therefore essential that you check that you have supplied the correct delivery address - the best way to do this is by creating a customer account. If there are any problems with your jewellery, please get in touch with us immediately, either by email or telephone and we will sort things as quickly as possible for you.
Can I change my mind / cancel my order?
If you are buying a stock item then you may cancel your order at any time before dispatch. If you decide you no longer want the jewellery once it has been received, you may send it back in unworn condition with tamper proof labels undamaged (where applicable) within 14 dqys of receipt and we will refund the purchase price minus the postage costs. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item and gift box safely and in the condition it was received, to Sally Davies Silver. If you do wish to return an item, please contact us first so we know to expect it. If you have ordered a specially commissioned, made to order or personalised item it cannot be returned unless we have made an error. If this is the case, please contact us on receipt and let us know what the problem is.
I have ordered a bespoke piece but it is not quite what I wanted - what should I do?
We spend quite a long time ensuring that bespoke jewellery is exactly what you want - we regret therefore, that we cannot refund bespoke jewellery. Please see 'The Bespoke Design Process' page for more information.
